Polygraph Examinations:
When a specific and identifiable incident occurs such as sexual contact
with a minor, assault, fraud, theft, sabotage, infidelity, arson, or homocide,
the polygraph technique is one of the most effective means available to
determine the credibility of a person's statements. Currently the results
of a polygraph examination are admissable in over 20 states, to include
Georgia under some circumstances. It is considered to be the most helpful scientific tool today.
Our specific issue polygraph examination
consists of these steps:
- A personal conference
- A pretest interview with the subject
- A series of at least three charts for physiological responses
- A review and interpretation of the polygraph charts
Upon completion of the examination a verbal report will
be given to the client. A written report providing a synopsis of the case
information is also provided. This report includes a list of relevant
test questions, the subject's answers, and the examiner's opinion as to
the subject's truthfulness or deception.
Our senior examiner is currently licensed in Alabama,
South Carolina and Tennessee. He is the current President-Elect of the American Polygraph
Association and an approved instructor in the field of sex offender polygraph
testing. He has been qualified as an expert witness in several states
regarding polygraph issues as well as interview and interrogation techniques.
We are certified to conduct PCSOT (Post Conviction Sex
Offender Testing) and are on the approved list of examiners for the Georgia
Department of Corrections Parole and Probations Departments.
